Account sync is optional. To delete a sync account, open Account sync and tap Delete account. The app asks you to reauthenticate, then removes the Firebase account and synced favorite species data from the developer-managed sync system.
Apple-linked accounts revoke the Apple OAuth authorization code when available during deletion. Local favorites stay on the device unless you remove them in the app or delete the app from the device.
